At Burread Bakery, we believe great bread has a way of bringing people together. We’re passionate about crafting fresh, high-quality baked goods, using locally sourced ingredients whenever we can. Every loaf, pastry, and treat reflects our dedication to both quality and community.
Burread Bakery was founded by Michael Burr, whose journey began in the kitchen as a chef before discovering a true passion for baking. While living in Slovakia with his now wife, Monika, he found inspiration in the rich traditions of European bread-making. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong craft—and eventually, a vision to bring that same authenticity and warmth back home.
Today, Burread Bakery is more than just a place to buy bread. It’s a space where traditions are honored, flavors are celebrated, and everyone who walks through the door is welcomed like family. Whether you’re picking up your daily loaf or indulging in something sweet, we’re grateful to share both our story and our oven with you.
The name Burread Bakery blends our family name, Burr, with our love for bread. It’s simple, personal, and a reflection of what we care about most—baking honest, high-quality goods for our community.
